Insurance policies provide some, but rarely total, reimbursement for dental treatment. However, as a convenience to you, our office will submit charges to your insurance carrier and help you receive the maximum benefits allowed by your insurance plan.
We accept and can submitt insurance claims to all PPO dental insurance plans.
We are specifically in network with the following insurance companies: Delta Dental, Cigna, Aetna, Metlife, Guardian, GEHA, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Principal, Principal Financial, United Healthcare, Dentamax, Ameritas, Lincoln Financial, Dentaquest, Connecticare, Benecare, United Concordia, Tri-care, Humana, Sunlife, Assurant.
We do not accept any HMO, DHMO, Medicaid, or HUSKY dental insurance plans.
We also accept many self-bought insurance discount plans. Please call for more information.
As a courtesy, we contact your insurance company for a limited breakdown of your benefits; It is each patient's responsibility to read, review and understand their dental insurance plan, frequencies, maximums, deductibles and limitations.
We will be more than happy to submit all insurance forms for you and help you maximize the most from your benefits. We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. We now offer Care Credit- Interest Free. Forms of other payment accepted by the office are check, cash, and most major credit cards. Please feel free to call us to discuss your coverage with our informed team.
Cancellations and Missed Appointments:
While we understand that unexpected events occur, we ask that you call us as soon as you realize that you are unable to make your scheduled appointment. We may be able to accommodate you with a more convenient time, while offering your cancelled appointment to another waiting patient.
If an appointment is cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice (or missed completely) a fifty dollar ($50.00) per hour fee for the cancelled or missed appointment will apply (to be billed based on the length of the scheduled appointment in your confirmation notice). Please know that this fee will not be covered by your insurance company.
In order to provide timely service to all patients, we must adhere to a strict policy of rescheduling any appointment for which you are 20 minutes late. While we understand that delays happen, your scheduled appointment will not be held so that we may continue to see other patients.
Please know that being 20 minutes late constitutes a same-day cancellation, and that a fifty dollar ($50.00) per hour fee for the missed appointment will apply (to be billed based on the length of the scheduled appointment in your confirmation notice). Please know that this fee will not be covered by your insurance company.
